We have a few patrons who are banned from the cinema and festival for having broken our code of conduct rules. In the past, they have not contacted us directly through emails. However, if you notice any of their names, please flag to Jasmine and do not respond.

She will flag Management Team

You can read the Code of Conduct policy

**The accounts have operation notes in it.

Operations Team (in person) instructions:

  • If you enter one of these names in Agile, a red stop sign will appear with a brief message.
  • If an Agent sees one of these flags, they should tell the patron to wait a moment and inform you immediately.
  • You will radio for the MOD (at HDTRC) or House Manager (TLB), inform them of the situation, and ask them to come to the box office as a precaution. .
  • Ask the patron to step aside to speak with them. Ask if they’re aware that they are not permitted entry, politely affirm that they cannot enter, and offer HR’s contact information if they have follow-up questions. If they’re not aware, inform them that you cannot sell/provide them with a ticket, and they cannot enter the event/premises/screening/etc.
  • If the patron doesn’t leave serenely, the House Manager/MOD will manage removing them and/or de-escalating the situation. This is not your responsibility.
  • An incident report should be filed: confirm with the MOD or Head Rep who will do so.

It is not our expectation that you identify these patrons visually, only that you don't actively sell them a ticket or allow them to enter if they provide their name.
